lyrics
I turn on the pedestal fan
To subsidise a lack of breeze
The spiderwebs trapped in the wire
Are suddenly released
Released out the window
Framed by a D.O.P.
Flyscreen divides the day into coloured pixels
Or is it dividing me
One day I'll get over the weather
Then we could go heaven for leather
I turn on the pedestal fan
I see you on the other side
You turn into a stop-motion
Windswept scene in black and white
One day I'll get over the weather
Then we could go heaven for leather
One day I'll get over the weather
Then we could open up the window pane for pleasure
Will I ever get over the weather
Will I ever get over the weather

Remember how Bill Murray woke up to I Got You Babe every day in Groundhog Day? If that song would have been Made Of Moods, he at the very least experienced three and a half perfect minutes each day. It’s one of those songs that I enjoy each and every second of, with it’s jangly guitars and hushed vocals that almost have a Beach Boys vibe, especially in the verse. Truly, it’s a song for the ages. But the best news about Still Life is that it offers eleven additional underground pop gems. Niek || Add To Wantlist

Courtney Barnett shared a video of Quivers on Facebook - You're Not Always On My Mind. I thought I bought the tape with this song on it. I believe it is not. Nevertheless, wanted to know more about Quivers and I collect tapes. So, there! Happy as a clam. Arnold

Loving this record! Jangle Jargon - the single - reminds me of something David Kilgour might have written and that's about the highest praise I could give anyone. Cheers from the PNW!
p.s. Now I've the entire record and it's definitely in my top 5 most listened too over the last 6 months. Kudos, FT. Tattooedkillhand
